Our cottage is an excellent starting point for long trips on foot or by bicycle. At one time a mink farm, today the site is equipped as a holiday cottage. Its location offers you a four hundred square metres domain – one half forest, the other half garden – entirely fenced-off. This cottage offers you an excellent view of the surrounding hills. With a bit of luck, you might even see young birds of prey leaving their nest…
Silence, nature: in short, everything you need for recharging your batteries. The rear side of the cottage offers you a quick route to the town centre of Nieuwkerke with all necessities close at hand: a baker, a butcher, a grocery shop… This path also leads to the ‘Pont d’Amour’ where an actual adventure track for children can be found. A little further you can find a number of cosy restaurants. Restaurant ‘De Kauwackers’, for example, offers you a selection of no less than 160 beers.
